- NEVAL is an agricultural research and testing company specializing in plant health, particularly in the area of nematology, with a focus on both phytopathogenic and quarantine nematodes. They conduct Officially Recognized Tests (EOR 93/17) for biostimulants and phytosanitary products in Spain, and they also perform research and development studies for agricultural inputs. NEVAL operates its own experimental fields and laboratories, and collaborates with universities.
- Informatie Leren en Werken
- The student will receive training on how tests are carried out to register an agrochemical product. You will also learn laboratory techniques such as: Nematology. Quality parameters in fruits and vegetables Parameters to measure in studies with microorganisms Counts and evaluations in the field (organoleptic quality, pests, bio stimulation in plants, sprouting, yield, fruit categories). Plaque for nematode collection Techniques to avoid bacteria in plaque. Marketing in companies in the sector (Writing articles, Publication on social networks, programming, AGROTECH). Learn to make cuttings with woody. Perform natural rooting agents and compare with synthetic ones. Transplant cuttings in the field Calibration of laboratory devices (balances, chlorophyllometers, penetrometers, chronometers, PAT, luxmeter) Calibration of devices in the field (pH meter, different spraying machines, field scale, volumetric material). Laboratory and field care. Basic actions: Cleaning of equipment, workplace, weeding of test areas, staking they will see but will not do it due to the season, marking of tests, sectorization of irrigation, etc. It is about developing the creative and most dynamic phases of the student that will be basic for their work experience in the future. Decision making is linked to autonomy, we aim for the student to gain confidence in a short period of time to assume their decisions as well as the achievements of their work. Teamwork is always encouraged, leaving room for personal achievements.
